Couple Holding a Wooden Welcome Sign

Nearly all of us are touched in some way by the disease of addiction, whether through family members, friends, coworkers, or acquaintances. Alcoholism and addiction rob individuals of everything they love and value.

Located in Beaufort, South Carolina, MercyMe Sober Living has long-term recovery program for men.

Our goal is simple - freedom from alcohol and drug addiction.

MercyMe Sober Living was founded and is run by people in recovery who believe they owe a debt to other alcoholics and addicts who helped them achieve a life liberated from alcohol and drugs. The MercyMe Sober Living family feels that it is a duty, an honor, and a privilege to help the still sick and suffering.

NEWS

We understand addiction because we’ve been there, too.

A Man in White Polo Short

MercyMe Sober Living was founded by those in recovery whose vision to give back to the community stems from their deep gratitude for the help they received for their own long-term recovery. After working with other sober living homes in the area for several years, they were inspired to explore the idea of Medicine Assisted Treatment (MAT).

In 2022, a group of people, including a local doctor specializing in the treatment of addiction, and friends in recovery established sober living facilities that allows MAT (Medical Assited Treatment) as part of an outside treatment program.

Since their own recovery decades ago, the founder of MercyMe Sober Living has always felt they owed a debt to other alcoholics and addicts. They never forgot the kind, patient individuals who helped them through their own recovery from alcoholism.
